We all have dreams that guide us through our lives. Sometimes those dreams seem impossible to achieve, and when they do, the results are fantastic. The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe’s 2011-2012 season shows deal with four different eras of time in America where race impacted the fulfillment of dreams in different ways. Our theme, “Race, Romance and Reverie” leads us through those eras as we celebrate the greatness of three African-American superstars in song, dance and story. Our one drama of the season deals with a time in U.S. history when achieving the American dream was more difficult for some than others.

Our shows will entertain you, excite you, educate you and, especially, energize you to continue to dream your impossible dreams and realize that anything is possible.
