Stay up to date with all the West Coast Black Theatre Troupe’s Shows / Events
A special category has been created to underwrite the costs of producing the 2011-2012 season of shows or producing specific individual shows. Ticket sales generally cover the first act, and we depend upon the generosity of individuals and businesses to complete the play’s second act. Once you choose ‘your show,” you will be recognized publicly as a Producer, with a donation of $5,000, or Co-Producer, with a donation of $2,500, at all performances of your selected show.
Producing fabulous shows takes talent, energy, hard work and money! WBTT ticket sales increase each year but did you know that ticket sales only cover the cost of the first act? It’s true and we rely upon the generosity of individuals, foundations and business owners to help defray the cost of each production.
Have you ever thought to yourself, “I want to be a producer”? Well, you can be! Each season you will have the opportunity to produce, or co produce, one (or more!) of WBTT’s shows. Your contribution of $5,000 (producer) or $2,500 (co-producer) will be recognized at your show’s performances and you will be listed here on our website. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the arts and get your name in lights!
Thank you to this season’s producers and co-producers for your role in making this season so exciting.
